Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics Student at King's College
Let's talk about nutrition on Instagram!
Emma was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in 2006, Crohn’s disease in 2007, indeterminate colitis in 2008, but ultimately re-diagnosed with Crohn's disease in 2017. Though, at times, inflammatory bowel disease seemed to get the best of her, Emma never gave up hope that life would get better. Emma is on a constant path to peacefully coexist with her illness through learning, talking openly about her experiences, laughing, practicing yoga, praying, eating well, and loving herself. Emma is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, former Intelligence Officer, and is now working toward certification as a Registered Dietitian to focus on scientifically backed methodologies to address dietary issues. Emma resides in the state of Florida with her husband and two children.
